Eight five gallon drums of red diesel, a horse carriage and generator, horse tack and other riding equipment worth in excess of £5000 was taken.
Police have recovered the horse carriage and generator on a track close to the A174 and believe the culprits would have crossed the carriageway with the stolen items. Officers want to speak to anyone who has seen people crossing the carriageway, or those seen carrying equipment near to the A174.
Anyone with information is asked to call Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
