Police are appealing for information to identify a female who stole a wallet as a man queued at a checkout in Redcar.
On Saturday 28th February, the victim was at the cigarettes kiosk in Tesco store on West Dyke Road in Redcar when he noticed a male customer next to him had left his wallet behind. He approached the man to give him his wallet and as he returns to the counter and pays for his own items and leaves his own wallet on the counter.
The next customer is then seen stealing the wallet (photo attached) as it lay on the counter.
Anyone with any information as to the identity of this female is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
